Obituary of Cecile Eva Hubbard

Cecile Eva Hubbard, age 58 of Remus, passed away March 13, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family. A funeral service will take place Wednesday, March 17^th, at 1:00 pm, at Janowicz Family Funeral Home in Remus. Pastor Randy Piatt will officiate with a luncheon to follow at the Wheatland Twp. Hall. Visitation will take place Tuesday evening from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. 

Cecile was born September 12, 1962 in Saginaw, MI, the daughter of Ivan Eckles and Janet (Miller) Thomas. She loved to crochet, making blankets for everyone she knew, and she enjoyed coloring in her spare time. Cecile worked at C.S. Manufacturing in Cedar Springs for many years where she made numerous great friends. She enjoyed watching movies with her sister, Jaymie, and cherished time spent with family. If you knew Cecile, you knew that ranch, spaghetti sauce, and busch light go with everything. Loving, caring, and good-hearted were all words used to describe her.

Left to cherish her vibrant memory are her children, Sarha,  John, LeeAnn "Mousie" and Dallas Hubbard. siblings, Pat Eckles, Marsha Lodes, Mic Eckles (Marty), Colleen Cousineau (Tom), Maureen Eckles, Meredith Nostrant (Fred), Jaymie Winter, Michelle Hartline (Chuck), and Dana Eckles, and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Don Eckles and Darlene Vroma, and her boyfriend, Steve Anderson.
