Our Mother, Carolyn Rose (Weeks) Brown, Born July 17, 1936, at home on 7 mile Rd, Remus, passed away May 25, 2021, in Big Rapids, at the age of 84. She was the daughter of Mildred (Sniff) Weeks and Floyd Leslie Weeks. Carolyn loved her children and grandchildren. She loved nature of all kinds and knew names of many plants and trees. Carolyn enjoyed collecting rocks, drawing, fishing, camping, singing and Yodeling. She was always a loving and easy-going woman, and a lover of gospel music, along with old country music of her time. Carolyn and her son, Leroy, loved walking in the woods together, and even saw a bear while on one of their nature hikes. Carolyn loved her birds and had a Parakeet named Baby. It is said that Boby was always well mannered and always spoke politely.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Rose M. Bailey Mast, Martin L. Bailey, Floyd L. Bailey, Thomas L. Baker, and Bonnie Luner; eight grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Sadly, Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Brown; son, Robert R. Bailey, and brother, Melvin Weeks.
