Obituary of Allan Clifford Aikin

Allan C. Aikin, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017, at his home at the age of 86.  Cremation will take place with a service yet  to be determined.  

Allan was born February 13, 1931, in Detroit, MI, the son of Clifford and Irene (Allan) Aikin. After obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University. Allan served overseas during the Korean War in the Navy.   Allan went on to work in the “Airline Industry “for many years. The majority of that with American Airlines.

He had a great passion for acting and directing, and was very involved in both the Canadian Lakes Players and Stage M in Big Rapids. Comedy was his thing, always making others laugh on and off stage.

Allan will be greatly missed by his three sons Grant Aikin, Dave Aikin, and Cliff Aikin, and three grandchildren, Craig, Stephanie, and Nicole.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Loretta Aikin.
