Obituary of David Gordon Crowley

David G. Crowley, our fun-loving soul mate, brother, and step-father, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Edmore, December 25, 2017, at the age of 82. Per his wishes, cremation will take place with a memorial service to follow in the summer.

Dave was born June 14, 1935, the son of Merl and Ella (Stout) Crowley. He met the love of his life, Maxine, while working at Hitachi in Edmore, and the two spent 24 wonderful years together. Dave had a great sense of humor and always had a story to tell. Most of his days were spent having fun and stirring up a little trouble along the way. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping; and his beloved dog, Koby.

Left to cherish his memory are his significant other, Maxine Shurlow; brother, Ed (Esther) Crowley of Blanchard; sisters, Sharon Wawersik of Shepherd, and Yvonne Springer of Arizona; step-son, Tom (Yunxi) Shurlow; sister-in-law, Susie (Joe) Burggren; two step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two children, Albert D. Crowley and Bonnie A. Clouse.
