Obituary of James Francis Crouse

James (Jim) F. Crouse, of Stanwood (Canadian Lakes), beloved husband of Barbara J. (Nee Anderson), died peacefully on February 24, 2018 with his wife of almost 55 years at his side.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael Catholic Church, Remus, MI on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM, with visitation on Friday, April 20^th from 3:00– 6:00 PM at Janowicz Family Funeral Home in Remus.

Jim is survived by his wife; son, Richard (Jody); granddaughter, Brianna and grandson, James; brothers, John (Janice) and Thomas (Angela); many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jim was born in Providence, RI, son of the late John Sr. and Elizabeth (Moriarty) Crouse on August 29, 1937.  He was a very a proud graduate of Pennsylvania State University.  He spent time in the New Jersey National Guard and was a member of the Farmington Elks Lodge #1986.  Jim had a lengthy golf career with two holes-in-one.  He worked for Huntington Alloys, a division of International Nickel for 33 years.
