Obituary of Ronald D Ray

Ronald D Ray, age 90 of Mecosta, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan E. (Ogletree) Ray. Ron is survived by his three sons, Mark (Alice) Ray and Tom (Jill) Ray of Mecosta and Steve Ray of Austin, Texas. He has three grandchildren, Ron (Niki) Ray, Mikki (Joe) Edwards, and Brooke Ray, as well as great-grandchildren who know him as “papa” and “bisabuelo”. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, October 17^that 11:30 AM, at Janowicz Family Funeral Home in Remus with visitation from 11:00 AM to the time of service.  There will be a luncheon served following the service at St. Michael’s School, Remus.

Ron will be remembered as a great husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. In addition, a great friend, mentor, firefighter, electrician, all-around handyman and war veteran.
