Obituary of Taylor Lynn Whaley

Taylor Lynn Whaley, age 21 of Mecosta passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Helen Devos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids.  A Celebration of Taylor’s life will be held on Saturday, October 20^that 1:00 PM at the Free Methodist Church in Mecosta with Pastor Dar Howard officiating.  

Taylor was born on August 18, 1997 in Big Rapids, the daughter of Dale and Tammy (Hamilton) Whaley.  Taylor touched the hearts of everyone she knew.  She was full of love, laughter and was always able to bring joy to those around her.  She listened to her favorite Barney music each day and loved getting a beautiful sun tan in her pool.  She will be deeply missed by all.

Those left to cherish Taylor’s memory are her loving parents, Dale and Tammy; grandparents, Dale and Beanie Appelgreen; brothers, Bryson, Jarrod (Mara); niece, Penelope Whaley; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Taylor was preceded in death by her Grandma Joan, Grandpa Nick, Uncle Lee and Cousin Travis. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Taylor Whaley family or the Helen Devos Children’s Hospital, P.O.R.T. in Grand Rapids.
