Obituary of Betty Jane Reeves
Betty Jane Reeves of Oxford, formerly of Mecosta, passed away on October 8, 2018 at the age of 96.
Born in 1922 in Mt. Vernon, Indiana to Emory and Dottie Clifford, the youngest of 8 children.
Betty was an avid Big 10 football and basketball fan. Her devotion to the Michigan State Spartans was rewarded on her 90thbirthday, with a basketball signed by Coach Tom Izzo, which she proudly displayed.
She is survived by sons, Terry (Bea) and Jerry (Gretchen); 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Levi; son, Charles; her parents, and siblings.
A private memorial has been planned by the family. Donations may be directed to Shriners Hospital for Children.
