Grandpa Bob was a great person. It was a blessing to have him in my life. I'll always cherish the memories. He was a great positive influence for me and anyone who knew him. I'll always remember how he helped me learn to swim, and play ping pong. We had lots of fun playing ping pong together, he was nearly impossible to beat.
Condolences to the family.

Dorothy and I send our condolences to Bob's Family, especially Anne and Bill.
I have known Bob since he moved to Canadian Lakes and his daughter, Anne since the mid 70's when we both lived in Mason. Bob was a fantastic tennis player and good friend as well. He used to be able to switch hands when going for a wide shot and make the rest of us envious with his ability to get to the ball and get it back. He continued playing into his early 90's and we carpooled to Big Rapids many times. Bob was about the kindest soul you would ever want to meet and never had a bad word about anybody. I had the opportunity to visit with him just last week and am so glad I made the effort. While in failing health, he still was so positive about everything we talked about. We will miss him greatly. His life was a beacon to how we all should live.
