Obituary of Charles Daniel Shaw

Charles D. Shaw, at the age of 76, passed away at home on October 31, 2018.  A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Noon at Janowicz Family Funeral Home in Remus with Pastor Raymond Freeze officiating.  Visitation will be held on Sunday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.

Charles was born December 6, 1941 to Alvin and Mildred Shaw.  He worked 33 years doing Road Construction, retiring out of Local 1075 Laborer Union. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  His hobbies included woodworking, camping and watching “old” Western Movies.

Charles is survived by one brother, Joseph (Waunita) Shaw of Waterford, MI; daughters, Carol (David) Blackmer of Barryton, Cheryl (Paul) Morlan of LeRoy; sons, Daniel Shaw of Metamora, OH, Ivo (Amy) Shaw, of Lakeview; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Mildred Shaw; wife, Carolyn; one daughter, Tina Marie; one grandson, Allen Blackmer; several sisters and brothers.
