Obituary of Steven Gregory Grzybowski

Steven “Jumbo” Gregory Grzybowski, age 65 of Mecosta passed away at his home on March 2, 2019.  A Funeral Service will be held at Janowicz Family Funeral Home in Remus on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM.  A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM just prior to the service.

Steven was born in Stanwood on August 17, 1953, the son of George and Dorothy (Fick) Grzybowski.  

Steven was the caregiver for his Mom until the time of her death.  He was very sociable with a “gift of gab”. He would stop and talk to everyone around Canadian Lakes as he road his bike in that area.  Hunting and some fishing were his choice of hobbies.  He was known for just being “his own kind of guy”.

He is survived by three brothers, Roger (Annette) Grzybowski, George (Carla) Grzybowski, Kenneth Grzybowski (Becky Tebua); three sisters, Carol Clup, Kathy (Daryl) Johnson, and Debra (Dan) Spicer.

Steven was preceded in death by both of his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family or to Janowicz Family Funeral Home.
