Obituary of Joseph Emil Couvreur Jr.

Couvreur, Joseph E of Remus Mi passed away on Nov 16, 2019. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, November 23, at 11:00 am, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Remus with Father Tom Boufford as Celebrant. Visitation will take place at Janowicz Family Funeral Home in Remus on Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and again on Saturday at the church from 10:00 am to the time of service. 

Joseph is survived by his children Michele (Daniel) Featherston, Susan Kennedy, Joseph G. (Alexandria) Couvreur, Renee (Jerry) Pelletier, Rosanne (Lou Collura) Couvreur, Daniel (Angela) Couvreur; Grandchildren, Shawn (Amanda) Featherston, Ryan Featherston, Kelly Featherston, Kyle (Mandy) Kennedy, Adam (Jasmine Bechek) Kennedy, Joseph R. (Chelsea) Couvreur, Joshua Couvreur, Rachel Couvreur, Freddy Quintana, Vincent Guerriero, Christopher (Sarah Czarnecki) Campbell, Jamie Campbell, Krista (Alec) Grant, and Daniel M. Couvreur; Great –grandchildren Amayah Featherston, Shawn S. Featherston, Aiden Featherston, Hunter Kennedy, Henley Kennedy, Jenna Kennedy, Derek Kennedy, Anthony R Guerriero and Micah Grant. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Irene Couvreur, his sister Pauline Reilly and his wife Patricia. Joseph was a loving step father/grandfather/great grandfather to Patricia’s family; The late Kim Marie Dambreville, Patricia Langhorne, Monica Perkins, Tawna Kemp, Tito Dambreville, Chico Dambreville, Naomi and Luke Perkins, Josiah and Judah Kemp, Joshua, Genesis and Malachi Dambreville. 

Joseph loved life and had many friends. He will be truly missed.
