Obituary of Marty Fountain

Marty Fountain age 42, of Remus passed away on August 2, 2020 at his home.  A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 1:00 pm, at Wambolt Cemetery, Remus.

Marty was born on September 23, 1977, in Big Rapids, the son of Willis and Regina (McNamara) Fountain.   He was a self-employed contractor and loved wood working.  Marty was an avid outdoorsman but fishing was his first passion, followed by hunting and mushrooming.  Non of those outdoor activities came before spending his time with his family.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Starr Hallock (Fountain); his mother, Regina Fountain; his children, Jordan Fountain, Brianna McPhee, Billy Gonzales; brothers, William and Harold Hallock; sisters, Malynda Fountain-Glegg, Margaret Hallock, Juanita Hallock; grandchildren, Solomon Vanrookel, Braelynn Burt and two very special aunts, Mary Novar and Chris Hallock.
