Obituary of Patricia Kay Nadeau

Patricia “Pat” K. Nadeau, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, passed away on Friday January 22, 2021. She was 71 years old and resided in Canadian Lakes, MI. 

Pat was born November 19, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Lester and Mae Canfield. She married Terry Nadeau in September of 1972, and they had their son, Daniel, in February of 1983. She worked as an executive assistant, then accountant, and later owned a restaurant with her sister, Sharon. Pat was an avid quilter and an active member of the Canadian Lakes Quilt Club. Giving one of her handmade quilts was a gesture of love for Pat, something she could pour herself into to show just how much she cared for someone. She also enjoyed playing mahjong, bird watching, and above all, spending time with her family and friends. 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Terry; son, Daniel (Lindsey); grandson, Remy; and siblings, Harold, Betty, Elaine, Sharon and Gary. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Mae Canfield, and brother, Richard Canfield. 

Per her wishes, cremation will take place, and then a service will be held in the late spring/early summer of this year. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to the American Cancer Society.
