Obituary of Raymond Lindeman
Raymond E. Lindeman, age 77 of Canadian Lakes, MI, passed away February 6, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
Ray, a Navy veteran, raised his family in Livonia, MI. He was employed at Entenmann’s Bakery, thus his love for sweets. He spent his retirement as a proud husband, father, and grandfather. His fondness for golf, bowling, and board games will continue in his family’s traditions.
Ray is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Eileene; children, Diane (Brian) Mier, Susan (David) Mier, and David (Lisa) Lindeman; grandchildren, Christine, Melissa (Amanda), Nicklas, Rachel, Abigail, Allyse, and Ava; great-granddaughter Dahlia; brother, Chuck Lindeman; sister, Mary Jane (Robert) Donahue, many nieces and nephews and his lifelong friends, David and Donna Hart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Mary Jane Lindeman, and his brother, Jim.
A memorial Mass will be held Friday February 19th at 11:00 am, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Remus, MI with Father Tom Boufford as Celebrant. The family will greet friends and relatives at the church one hour prior to the service.
Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the church.
