I just heard about uncle Mike's passing. He will be truly missed. My deepest sympathy to all the cousins and their families.
I remember one day I had a business meeting in Mt Pleasant and called to see if he was up for lunch. He said of course. We met and talked about everything under the sun (sports, business, politics, and even Aunt Dee's garage sale adventures). It was a great memory for me.

Cheryl, Michelle, and Marilyn,
I was so sorry to hear about Mike's passing. I remember him as always being kind and quick to smile. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time, and I hope you can find comfort in each other. That is the gift of having sisters. Keep telling each other stories about him and he will remain in your hearts.
Love,
Wendy

So many memories of Dee and Mike, but here's one of my favorites and it's from the beginning of Dee and Mike. Mike had just returned home from military service in Korea and he and Dee were going on their first date. She was all dolled up in a short pullover sweater, tight skirt with a kick pleat in the back, seamed nylons (this would have been in the late 50's) and high heals. And there was Mike in the Kitchen waiting for her and so handsome in his dark blue uniform, hat in hand. The smiles lit up the room. It made us all happy to see them. Their love really did last a life time.
Mike was a welcoming, friendly family man. We always looked forward to visiting your family, playing cards, sharing a meal, and of course the Christmas Eve parties. And now as we've grown apart, we still have memories to cherish and hold dear. I imagine heaven is a pinochle party and my parents are at the same table with Dee and Mike; Mom and Dee are winning and accusing Dad and Mike of cheating. Or is it the other way around? My thoughts and prayers are with you girls. Love, Aunt Deb and Uncle Tim

I was sorry to hear of Mike's passing. As Dee was like a sister to me so Mike was like a brother-in-law. I can hear his chuckle when he laughed. He and Dee enjoyed playing cards with my Dad and Mom, Pete and Gert Bozin. There was always laughter especially at my Dad's jokes. Our Christmas Eve parties were always lively and joyous. A special gift was his carved duck that we have displayed. My granddaughters never met Mike but they love his duck so I have had an opportunity to share some memories of Mike with them. Cheryl, Michelle, and Marilyn my sympathy goes out to you at this sad time. Love, Colleen and Harold

I'm so sorry to read of my cousin Mike's passing. His mom, Aunt Nellie, and my mom, Anne Brown, were sisters who were exceptionally close. We traveled from Flint to Detroit a lot and Mike was always so fun to be with. He and your mom were truly lovebirds. I'm so sorry for your loss.
